Getting SSFIITHDR or waiting for SFIV?

I will definitely be getting both. For sure. I think SFIV is going to be a great game and have good depth. ST HD Remix is going to be very cool and it's going to be awesome to really feel out the character re-balancing.

With the changed move inputs and properties, I'm sure we'll have a lot of different things to play around with and delve into. To me, that's one of the best parts of any fighting game. To just play around and get the feel for the system and then, once you get a little familiar, you get to watch your skills grow and develop as a player.

Although I'm not a HUGE fan of the HD remix animation (still the old animation frames, just new sprites) I think the redrawn characters are very artistic and cool. Overall, I have a feeling the game will be very good AND have a good online community.

 

It's true that VF is my favorite game, but SuperTurbo is such a good old school game.

Since I have a XBOX360, nobody will see me the 26 playing VF5. I will be too busy dusting off the "Strongest woman in the world".

This game is going to be sweeeeet....getting SF4 for my 360 and HD for my PS3....

 

I'll be getting SSF2THDR but I'm still undecided about SF4.

How many of you are getting the 360 version? This question is aim at the multi console owners. I'm getting both versions of the game(SF2THDR)But once I get un-banned from SONY this week, I'll be on the PS3 version most of the time.

 

How did you get banned from the PSN? I didn't even know that was possible? And when is Home supposed to be released?

BTW I plan to get 360 version. While I think PS3 is a superior piece of machinery and I'm sure it will eventual surpass the 360... For now though I'm Pro Xbox Live. The service is just to good and hopefully will just get better. I'm sure that won't be the case though WHEN and IF PS3's Home is successful.

 

I agree Konjou! XBOX LIVE FTW. Microsoft has been working on and tweaking LIVE for so long now, it may take Play Station another generation to catch up to the quality of XBL. Not even aruing system power, I just think everyone has to agree that XBOX LIVE is pretty superior to PS3 Home.

Supposedly the SFII HD Remix has a pretty nice net code. They claim the dudes from GGPO worked with Capcom and gave them some pointers. Hopefully the online VS mode will be really good, the community will be pretty big if so.

Can wait to rip it up with you guys in some HD Remix!!!

 

Live is a beast on it's own and a great reason to have the console. My only beef is the d-pad on the 360. For those that use sticks it's a non-issue, but I remember a guy from work hunting down 3rd party controllers trying to find something to play SF2SDFJHSDGFSDLKGNDSFLGKHNDSLKGHD with.

 

Don't know if I care about SFIV but anyone that knows me KNOWS I will be picking up HD Remix the second it's available. I'm so thrilled I don't have to work Wednesday! Unfortunately I have to travel north for Thanksgiving so it will severely cut my playing time down.

im gonna be on HD remix from wednesday. Adam is coming down on friday so ill play vf with him and when I go to japan this december. But I think im done with VF in the states unless some sort of miracle happens.

Basically M. Bison (Mike Bison) had alot of similarities to mike tyson and capcom didnt want to risk getting sued over likeness so they changed the naming in the US version.
