    Since the dawn of time my team has tongued nuts. Some people I know gave up the ghost a long time ago and started rooting for a team with a bright future or a storied past. This phenomenon is so pervasive that even in the Dome, on game day, when the Saints are leading I've seen cheering fans shed their Saints jersey to reveal a jersey of the opposing team. Go to a bar in New Orleans on Sunday and you are just as likely, most of the time, to find a Packers fan or a 49ers fan or a Cowboys fan as you are to find a Saints fan. We are a battered breed just waiting for a raindrop so that we can claim the sky is falling.

    NOT THIS TIME, GODDAMMIT!

    So our defense sucks and Deuce is out and we've lost 3 of our last 4 and all the rumors of voodoo have resurfaced...Maybe you hate football, maybe you pull for another team...I don't care...please, please take a moment on Sunday to direct some positive energy in the direction of my oft-maligned Saints...our oft-maligned Saints...together, love can find a way. Thank you &
