Is there a better way to get Gohs Sh ram besides [2_][6] [P][K]. I can't get that tactics combo to hit. ([6][K] [P] [2_][6][P][K]

All [2_][6] moves in VF can also be done from standing position by hitting [3][3][6], so [2_][6][P][K] becomes [3][3][6][P][K]. Usually makes it easier to execute.

Hey I don't know if this is new info but you can bust out a shulder ram from a back dash[1][1][6] [P][K]

yes, this is a useful trick for goh - bait someone with a low punch or jab, then crouch dash back with [1][1] to move out of range. When they do their predictable low punch or elbow or whatever - cut loose with FC, [6][P][K] and stagger 'em.

The crouch-dashing setups with Goh seems to be the same stuff as Akiras Shoulder ram tactics; of course the effect is different.

Watching the Team Tabara videos of Arashi (especially in fights against Tsuchkimo's Pai) will show you the most effective ways to properly utilize the shoulder ram.

In one of the more recent matches of those two, Arashi spams the shoulder ram three times in a row, and I know he makes contact with at leasy two of them.

One thing I found is that the shoulder ram is not a good move to initiate a flow chart or series of attacks, especially from a large distance. Like other posts have said, baiting an opponent with a quick striking attack is good to lure them in for shoulder ramming. /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
