    I'm posting this because few times I had Goh's [2]/[8]+[K]+[G] working on Sarah's [9]+[P]+[G], Lei's [2][3][6]+[P]+[K] and another Goh's [6][6]+[P]+[G]... I thout maybe it's just working on opponent's "closing-up" moves or it's just I was lucky to do this?

Sarah's animation on her catch grab does make he slightly turn to the side, this is probably the reason for goh's [2][K]+[G] hitting her. If you can call Sarah's catch you could probably use this as a tactic. But sarah moves to one side, meaning you have to call out which side she is gonna step to. However I cannot confirm goh's anti-SS even hits Sarah on her catch, it is all a hypothesis /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

actually, that move of Goh's works on attacks when you have the advantage in many many cases. It's hard to quantify exactly when it works like that, but try this. Have a friend try to TR away from the direction of your Goh's trip, and try to attack as soon as they have TR'ed. Goh will trip them mysteriously even when they are doing an attack.

this move will often work on lunging moves, another one which I have seen is the grab from [P]+[K], [P]+[G]. I would be interested in trying it against Wolf's [6][P]+[G] or [6][6][P]+[G], or even Vanessa's catch throws. There is another recent thread on this topic that might be sort of helpful.

has anyone figured out the specifics on it hitting in non-evade/TR situations?
curious, having this land in more situations, would definitely be an asset.

In CreeD's quick start guide, it says that this move is supposed to throw an opponent coming out of a TR, but I have tried this endlessly in the free mode, with multiple different positions and angles, but can never get it to work. it only seems to work on an evade, but it seems sufficiently slow enough, that you would have to predict an evade to get it to work, which seems almost impossible. am I missing something about the timing of this in regards to a TR?

You're either timing it wrong or not close enough.

  8. if you manage a [8] or [2] [P]+[K] you can come back the opposite direction with [8] or [2] [K]+[G] and get the throw off. Sometimes it works after [4][6] [P]+[K].
