Good Games Thread

Tonnes of players I've played and had GGs with, but ggs to EfreeteG, knew you'd get good after first time I played you but not that fast! Gameztrix is tougher than ever, real challenge beating your Akira. And speaking of Akiras, SETTRA dismantled me last night on ranked but we had some ggs there and on player match other night.

GGs to Darth, Peleliu Corner, UltraLewis, SCHAKAL, WIEAND (shame we don't have great conn always 'coz you're one of the most fun players I've played against). GGs to HappyFriend with that incredibly annoying pokey jabby Jacky , I just find it hard to get rythm against you.

Sorry if I forgot anyone, too many to recall!

 

How dare you call my Jacky annoying... Actually I feel like he is really annoying as I play him. He has been my # 3 since VF3, but I don't use him as much in 5. I am not comfortable with him so poke a lot. He is trying to find his balls. Till then, expect a lot of jabs and low-spinning backfists.

ggs man. I was really surprised to see u say that, since that is EXACTLY what i was thinking. Well, the 2nd sentence that is. I thought the game really came down to who was able to dictate space. Honestly, i'm not sure anyone can dictate the spacing to jacky in the long run tho. BTW what is FF's mean? I'll be on intermittently, hit me with a friend request.

and i know it makes the game more "broke" as you would say, but 2p has faster crouch properties than a crouch fuzzy, so abare with 2p aint a bad idea. nice testing stuff with u as always, 2p after shoulder ram and cant be thrown is awesome.. for me that is

gg with tekken, SILENT, ur an awesome tekken player already. I want to learn tekken now on a technical level like i do with VF, VF opened my eyes. I duno how u long u been playing but im very impressed.
GG ASSASSinCP for mirror matches. Those were good matches yesterday. I felt my game has improved alot since i played tekken and lost alot of bad habbits. I wouldnt have been as good with goh if it werent for u, we cut down the learning curve when we are constantly learning stuff with goh. 2 mind ares better than 1.

ggs ultralewis good matches with aoi vs wolf. im still learning aoi trying to develop my own style of play but as im doing that i notice my lack of basic fundamentals

 

great long set with Titantony99. Your wolf is very aggressive and I had to stay put with my Eileen to keep you at bay. It seems that no one wanted to leave the set! hahah But I had to go to bed when I saw it was 4am! Good games and hope to play your Wolf with my Pai next time!

GGs to SDs_Overfiend. After splitting a session the other night we were going at it again with the mirror match. We had each won three games in a Jacky vs. Jacky match and I was expecting to play a while, since even matches are harder to find on XBL these days. Sadly, SDS leaves and I get this message:

"gg make no sense playing u anymore with all do respect. im not dumbing my shit down online too beat u anymore. after 3 straight u did even dumber shit. gg have fun. ill catch u offline or something."

Doh! My game is so bad that SDS has to dumb down his highfalutin game to beat my simple ass. Either that or it is the terrible lag in games between North of Philly and NYC from my broadband connection with my 360 plugged directly into the modem.

I mean it has to be one of those things because there is no way my lame Jacky could be close to even with the Jacky of Alpha-gamer, VF philosopher, and wordsmith SDS_Overfiend.

 

GGs last couple of days to xxSETTRAxx, Kahn Rahn, GamezTrix, UltraLewis and VFnumbers. My Lau should get quite a bit better in the next few weeks with practice against you guys.

I wouldve never posted our convo at all because online is'nt that serious. I remember you saying that i never stick around long...I realized why Happy. With all dues respect.I win 3 in row not that i matters online.You started to do dumb shit and i was sitting like WTF? If fighting Lucky is annoying to you imagine how i felt. I would never put you on blast Son here its not wort it. I never complained about the lag either in our matches so mentioning the modem thingy is a waste. Its just the shit you was doing had me bugging and i could'nt learn nothing from it. Honstly you repeated the same movement over and when i though you would switch up you didnt....I switched up giving you the benefit and you never did. I mean Offline is a whole different monster so some of the shit you do you can get away with.
