I would like to say I am an Abare Poisonous Confusion type of player based on my tendencies as far as I know but I don't know of any other aspect that fits me too much.

 

And im still smarter than everyman in Scotland yard is.. your the dork Darth... You Ass Pirate. In fact why are you here?

 

I've asked him that question many times. You won't get an answer.

The easiest thing is just to ignore him.

Nice post, Tim. I love it when I get those VF epiphanies that help move my game forward.
I noticed that you like to teach and I appreciate you a lot more than players who do not bother to give any advice at all.
BUT, sometimes I just want to fight. Yes, fight. I don't want to talk (although sometimes VF while chatting with you and many others here is pretty damn cool) sometimes I just want to fight.

The last time we played you showed me a lot of cool stuff with Vane and I thank you again... but I was left with an emptyness that only fighting could fill

You already know that I listen when you talk and tell me your views and ideas but I don't think you give that back sometimes. What I mean is that it's hard to get you to listen. I tried really hard one time for you to get out of a mindset that was holding you back... but sadly, you weren't having it.
I thought "maybe if I was a Sarah player" or "maybe if I was a top level Japanese player" you would listen to me but I'm glad about what you wrote here because it seems that you have moved forward from that old mindset that was, imho, holding you back

Now, you know I gotta mess with you, right? You wouldn't be my VF brother if I didn't mess with you Yes, I know it might rub you the wrong way... but I hope you see the funny in this VF style I noticed:

Distractor(The players that use this style tend to use "interesting" comments/conversation OR loud/obscene/funny outbursts to distract you and take you out of your zone or off your game)

A special GGs to Adam Yuki, we had some laggy games but amazingly enough, it was playable. It's a special shoutout cuz it's good to see Adam on xbl again and the fact that I got to play him while he's all the way in Japan and the connect was still playable Awesome.
Azuzabo, GGs to you too but it seems like we can't get a playable connect ever

It's all good doctor. I am what you exactly said and pointed out, so no but's about it. Distractor is a compliment and defintely works good in my experience being that your next to the opponent. i.e. tournament, xbl,etc. I have to give credit where credit is due and this style I learned from stl's finest no other than unconkable. This guy showed me how to get into player's heads before, after and during matches. Unconkable during the vf4 evo generation was a very notable brad player that held his own against some of the old greats. His tactic was one of subtle comedy luring the opponent in and then taking them off their mental game. May be it cocky, sarcastic, bizzare or whatever once he was in then it was over. I should know considering I was a victim to it many times. One funny memory I recall was when I was at a tekken ranbat at a local arcade where Unconkable was playing vs another opponent. During the match it seemed 20 people were hovering around the machine closing watching as both players were down to the smallest points of health left. All of sudden, Unconkable yells out, "Whomever is touching/shoving me better stop!" The opponet looks around to see if he is touching/shoving unconkable or if anyone is the culprit. In a blink of an eye the game shouts out, "game over!" The opponent looks to unconkable and sees a grin. I lost it laughing and thought this guy is smart and uses everything in his power to get the job done. Whatever you think at the end of the day a win is a win, so I have to respect that cleverness. Big ups to unconkable for the lessons and I hope life is treating you well.

T-fam side note:
I talk and discuss alot in xbl party chat, because I feel I learn more than just playing. I have been just playing for 6 years and really has got me nowhere, so thanks to xbl I can get honest opinions on my weaknesses and learn from my experiences rather than just play by process of elimaintion. I firmly feel we as VFers don't have the luxury of other game tribes with larger crowds just to simply play. Ours is one of study/play to accel to what we think is acceptable, and that changes every year when we laugh at our own old videos, and remember what we thought was correct at that time(so humbling). Having said that, I see your point when you just want to throw down, so hit me up whenever.

Unconkable invented two great things for Brad -- DumDums (f+P+K) and the 21st birthday (do PKG cancel really fast over and over)

 

wow you guys write some long friggin posts...how about this: online vf with full bars is really not that far off from offline.

And another thing...while sometimes the online lag kicks in..(especially under 3 bars), to win off OR online u must have a mix of movement, changing style, and some overall knowledge of punishments and advantages....and many times it just comes down to PURE guessing. This is VF5; so many moves have weird properties that you can't even tell if ur getting lag or its a broken vf move, so who cares anymore lol

 

Ahhh so thats why I had to turnoff the speaker volume after I beat you one time. You were trying to distract me so you could stand a better chance at beating me. Instead...I just didn't play again because you were more annoying than Lions voice actor.

(I hardly ever play a lion player on purpose.)

 

My mistake was to play moral vs you thinking that you actually were going to play the game, but I was horribly mistaken. Sorry for going out on a limb and giving you that courtesy. I remember playing vs you and when things weren't going your way 2p blocked @ -5 locked and loaded, lagtastic. If I get the pleasure of playing vs you next time I won't offer that sir.

I always find it hilarious when you find players who have mad game knowledge and game experience but still suck dick at the game they luv. It runs rampant in VF5 to the point that its balls are dry.

Truly good players have no problem beating me and don't hide behind math. I won't argue shit because I don't know the math.

What's real is that the your just not that good at the game. Seriously there's no excuse great enough to lose to the worst player. I never legitely beat anyone right?

 

Good games to boris, MisaTVFDC, Dolphyn, last night for some good tekken games. Boris, use lei wu long we can learn him together, i owe u for teaching me my lion, btw did u like that -negative 9 negative 10 low punch ducking underneath throws because 2p you can duck faster than u would with crouch fuzzy, each character has about 3-6 moves that u can duck faster than CF ( universally 2p). PPL complain about abare with 2p, but to me its legit until negative 11/12, the only thing you have to worry about is being counter hit. MOst moves that are used for CH baiting are negative -7 and up on block ., so its like.. 2p or evade option. I watch top japanese players, and they priorities when in disadvantage first ETEG, then 2p, then crouch fuzzy or fuzzy G. Crouch fuzzy and FG sometimes in my opinion is dangerous if they didnt buffer the throw. By the time they have hitchecked, and then throw, they would have lost frames for their throw and it becomes a delay throw.. especially online. ETEG is a lil safer if ur good at reading which throws their doing. U have 10 frames to break throw before the throw activates, and 13 frames after the throw actives ( info by chief flash ). that way u dont gotta worry about delayed throws when CF/FG. If you find out any OM Setups with lion let me know.

Yep good shit man, you usually have some interesting technical stuff I probably wouldn't have thought about.

I'll def give Wu Long a try, But from what I've read Tekken isn't the kinda game where you can use low tier chars and still stay competative. Wu Long is B according to the tier list on Tekken Zaibatsu, he looks like fun but I'm not making any promises to main him.
