I'm tempted. But I've been pretty sick recently. Even passing up regular Friday brawlfest tonite.

I'm going to get a lot of sleep tonite and see how I feel in the morning.

see ya 11 AM. Last week was brutal in NYC. We had all the street's downtown covered in Secret Service, FBI and Police every three feet. 25 degrees F was temp at 10AM too! Yesterday, I saw President Bush enter City Hall. Mott St south to Brooklyn Bridge were closed for about an hour. Interesting Akira player w/ long sidburn's and a mean combo off wall attack that really hurt. Sheesh, 'bout half the life bar gone in a blink. I think the worst was I caught twice with Akira's b,d+P+G throw. Akira's acursed b,f,f+P+K making me cringe after canned P fllowing throw. Routine Oki was transformed into a major pain. NY has it's fair share of woman players and they always challenge jiji. This visit it was a pretty Aoi and a black leather pants and pink
fluffy scarfed Pai that added spice to chinatownfair VF4 afternoon delight. After giving a mercy round I was trounced and the scene exploded w/ six new challengers step'n up to play. I have two DVD's filled with over 2 Gigs of VF4 gameplay and combo magic on the way from the Korean VF4 clans. I will be there practicing <font color=black>mantis catch throw into doom combos</font color=black>wall throws and hope to see you and the members that are early birds. Wifey is going away at end of month so i will get to arcade for Friday battle and Saturday evening battle too.

I was at CF on the 8th, (Friday) no old hardcore regulars. I suspect they are busy playing the game at home which I don't have the privilige yet.*BASTARDS*
But, they are new challengers brewing. VF4 in NYC is on the rise. I honestly didn't play VF much today. Spent most of my time preparing for Super Turbo tournament in NJ this Sunday. {Still my #1 favorite arcade game}

excellent weather. ...sipping coffee from Sun Hop Shing and munching a pork bun warm from the oven ...standing in the morning sun waiting for crew cleaning floor to finish. Saturday is like morning calm in Korean mountains in my mind. Sitting in dark arcade with only VF4 machine on is awesome. .... the VF4 machine has a low slanting control/button panel so we played sitting down for an hour in morning before arcade opened for private Gotham VF4 Club meeting. great time to practice. The simple fact of being at the proper height and angle to buttons really makes a difference for my banana fingers. Arrived at Doral stage w/ Jacky, Wolf, Shun, Lion and Jeff. Each time I got lucky to capture only a single round. Doral seemed to insult me with her variety of weapons. No names in machine yet, so I also only signed with A. CPU Akira is still interesting if you resist cheesy machie tactics. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif AI seemed to play better each time, is it learning from human input of combos and counter-measure flowcharts? AI TE seemed to improve too or am I imagining this increase in playing level from AI? Thx to all VF4 players that showed this morning. Good Luck in New Jersey Tournament tomorrow! Gong She Fa Tie!
