Guild Wars 2 "Official" Launch Date!

Just a few minutes ago ArenaNet announced that Guild Wars 2 will be releasing on August 28th, 2012.
I cannot wait for this game to finally be playable without me racing against the clock for a weekend
event or stress test that lasts a few hours. Now I just have to nail down the class I am definitely starting
with and start getting a plan together for my progression and exploration. We also get a final Beta Weekend
Event on July 20th-22nd.

Not sure how may MMORPG players we have here, but in my experiences with GW2 so far in over 60 hours of testing I know it's my next destination in the virtual world.

 

Man so late in the summer. Well I haven't really been waiting for it but I will prolly check it out.

On the other hand, The Secret World early access starts this friday. ^^

On a related note, I just cancelled my SWTOR subscription.

 

Dang... too soon for me to get a whole new PC!

Guild Wars 2 is a game I've been so looking forward to....

 

The beta's been a blast to play, and I can't wait until GW2 finally hits the shelves.

 

Yeah, the beta has been a blast and I look forward to the next BWE in about 2 weeks. I think the game will do well for experienced MMORPG players and those looking to try that style of game without a monthly commitment.
