GVN Winter Brawl 2009 Feb 28th Philly, PA

GVN is proud to hold the 2009 Winter Bash at the Sheraton Hotel in Southern Philadelphia. This time, GVN is teaming up with Big E(NEC) to make this the best and smoothiest GVN yet. And for the first time ever, you can register online in advance for the tournament.

Eric and I will be splitting duties. He will ru the 2D duties and I will run the 3D game duties.

Haha, can't wait for this shit. Hope to see a lot of familiar faces, and with SF4 dropping on consoles like 10 days before I'm amped. Might even get a few of my CS buddies to come, they'll all be playing SF4 as well.

Come and celebrate your birthday with us. There's a GVN tradition were most of us goto Tom Jones' Diner in Media after the tournament. As your present I'll cover ya. Last time we had 26 people at the diner and they were shocked at how many of us there were.

I'm trying bro, pitching it in all the posts I make practically. All the gg's I send out I ask if they're going to GVN /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
I even have a blurb about it on my youtube page, which isn't going to be worth much cuz my joystick broke and I won't be capping new vids. Getting a new one mid February which means I'll be coming into GVN with like a week of practice =\

 

I don't know if I'm going to be coming or not. I'm burned out from driving so much in the latter half of this year. I've been to Philly twice this year for GVN in August and NEC in December (300+ x2). I've been to Charlotte, NC for a tournament in I think November (well outside of Charlotte (300+ miles)). I drove to Louisiana in October when my mom was in the hospital (1100+ miles). I just drove to Arkansas for Christmas (1000+ miles). Then drove from Arkansas to Louisiana to spend New Years with my mom (500+ miles). And finally just got back to Virginia today after driving 20 hrs straight (1100+ miles).

So you guys do the math. 4600+ miles which is actually probably going to be close to 5000. So yeah. Burned out.
