I am in need of some training if I don't want to get thrashed in Korea. Who's up for playing today? I will probably be there early afternoon, 1-4 pm ish. Will be playing to win, so show up if you want get a beat down, heh heh.

OK, was there from 3-4:30 pm (sorry if people turned up earlier)--no one there. And no wonder. The 2P side is REALLY bad. Anyone know the Yishun arcade managers well enough to ask to get it fixed?

Does anyone goes to bedok? I never been there but I may make the trip if there are some challengers. I gets boring playing vs CPU sometimes.

I know Bedok Funland has a big screen for VF4, but it also has Evo on two back-to-back challenging machines, right? Why play VF4 when you have Evo?

It's 2 credits per 2-round game for Evo. A little more ex then yishun. But the 2-round game is against cpu, I dont know about the vs game, never had the chance to play with anyone there.

Anyway, that was about a month back.

Bedok not worth going. The last time I went there was last yr and it was also 2 token 2 round. Its too far away.

Besides, soon no place will be worth going. I mean that is when vf4 evo comes out for ps2 in about 2mths' time. hehe.

Also sian, cos' not everyone will be free to play vf4 evo PS2. I guess my bro and i will go up the Zu mountains and ku lian. haha.

 

Well, at least you have a brother to practice with. I don't have PS2 yet, so at times I played SF Alpha 3 (PS) with my wife, and you not gonna believe this; I am not allowed to do hadoukens or any kind of supercombos, those are considered as cheatings /versus/images/icons/grin.gif.

I was at Yishun last evening (08/01) and no one was there, so I played a few rounds with the CPU. The button on the P1 side is a little unresponsive. Dont know about the 2p side, no time to try it.

Lately I really bery sian, it seems that the more I practice my kage the more difficulties I have pulling off the knee thing after TFT. I used to get the knee out 100% when I was playing VF2 & 3. Now it's like almost half the time I couldnt get it out. Hmm..must be the joy stick lah...must be the joy stick... yeah right.

 

The 1P is not great, but at least it's playable. The 2P is not playable at all. I guess nobody knows management there? I have a Korean tournament to train for!!

Aah, sorry, just saw this. I was thinking of going at night, but I think now can only go tomorrow (have to send grandparents to the airport). So 3-4 pm? Maybe if there's half a dozen of us to bug the arcade owner he'll fix the sticks.
