Brisal73!


Brian (with an "I") is the first person Catherine and I met when just getting into VF4. He's the first VFer that became friends with us outside of the game. He's the ONLY person I know that's ever had a move named after him. I mean, wow, that would be like everyone calling Akira's KNEE, well, "Plague". I've got NOTHING on this guy.

First to ten was always a big deal for us in VF4. I don't think I got to ten first more than, I don't know, twice out of forty-seven attempts.

He rode with us to Texas on a weekend VF tournament turn-around (44 hours in our old van so we could spend 27 hours in Texas).

When VF5 came out, we had a few little tournaments at my house. One day he brought the prize (and proceeded to win, anyway) - tickets to a pre-screening of Transformers. So insane! Saw the movie, like, two weeks before it was released in a giant, super-crowded theatre. I walked out of the the theatre and shook hands with Michael Bay.

How do things like this happen?!

Well, certainly not without knowing people from VFDC.

Woooooot! Happy birthday Brian! For stories such as the one Plague describe above is the main reason I love this game so much and continue to stick around and try to become tighter with the community. You just can't find these kinds of people any where, but somehow there manages to be tons of them under the VFDC roof. Hats off to everyone especially Ice-9 and Myke for keeping it all together so we all can stay connected, because without VFDC I don't think it would be happening like this.
