Hardware question

My man Cause aka Phil has finally gotten himself a dreamcast and virtuafighter, but <gasp> there are no arcade sticks to be found! Does anybody know of any retailers that are selling the adaptec arcade stick or have any recomendations for a stick that is in the same price range and quality?

 

Try Auctioning on ebay. There seems to ALWAYS be at least 5 on auction every time I check. Just use the keyword "arcade stick dreamcast" or something like that.

The Arcade Sticks are pretty hard to find now, import and domestic I believe (I may be wrong). I guess those are probably out of production even.

Anyways, the only stick I can recomment besides an Agetec is the Capcom vs. SNK edition stick by Ascii. However, it is practically twice as expensive as the Agetec, has a diffferent feel, but I would actually say it is much better than the Agetec and worth it. I've only seen two places online that seem to have a ready supply of them. http://www.buyrite1.com and a Hong Kong site (sorry, forgot the URL, remind me over email and I should be able to send you the link sometime). After shipping and all that, I don't know which one will be less expensive, but I think they are both going to be around $80-100.

There's also the option of going for a Mas stick or building one too. I think the Agetec sticks are probably the only good (Dreamcast) sticks that were sold in retailers. I haven't tested the stuff that's been released lately, but just by looking at their design I expect them to be pretty crappy... I'm considering abusing 10 and 30 day return policies to test them out though.
