Haven't played VF 5 FS in ages

Haven't played VF 5 FS in ages. Really like the game and it's characters, should I pick it up again and try to become decent? Or is it pretty much dead?

 

If you make an account with Japan as your area (and live in a decent time zone) you will have access players and 100+ games session everyday. If you do otherwise, games are not as common and will need to be set up through here/discord/whatever.

Whether or not it's worth picking up and learning... that's up to you. If you want to spend free time on this (at this point in history) go for it.

 

The game is still pretty much alive on PSN. There's always people on ranked. Room matches are becoming more common too. Couple of people host weekly room matches on a regular. Plus in places like discord you'll always find people looking to play matches. And twitch is another good place to find other players.

 

I was in the same boat. You must play it.
