ok I feel really silly talking about this on here... I am basically wondering how I should play against Aoi... My friend uses her and he always counters my spod, my dblplm and pretty much everything else throw at him. So I wait for him to attack and I get some damage of countering him but he somehow always comes out on top... Does anyone have any ideas on how exactly to approach Aoi? My Jacky rips her apart, but I just can't seem to get Akira to step it up... Any help would be appreciated.

It may be that with akira your not varying your hit levels! Its easy to reverse when all he has to do is do a middle reversal. just vary your moves, akira doesn't have a lot, he is pretty linear, but if he is tryin to reverse you everytime just dash in and throw, and throw and throw!

I would take him outside and beat the shit out of him if beating him at VF doesn't work, heheh.

I use Aoi quite a bit. When Evo first came out, Akira wasn't a problem, but most of the good guys figured out how to deal w/ her.

You're friend is reading you like a book. Beat Aoi at her own game. Try throwing some fakes in, as well as some of those throws I've been whining about on another thread. Also, since he's got such a lame high-game [4][6][P] is a nice one to throw in there when you think he's about to reverse you.

If that doesn't work, see KungfuSmurf's thread.

HAH!!! Dude.. that's awesome... What you guys don't understand is that he's a small japanese guy... I probably would kill him if I fought wit him IRL. I just want to know how to ow him in VF. But that's ok for now... I own his muppet ass in Capcom SNK 2. I'll try using those throws of akira's. I do have a question for akira users though... When akira does his [6],[4][P]+[G] throw, if you don't continue it and just leave it at that, is there a possibility of attacking off of that with anything other than [6],[6],[K][K]?

You just need to be more unpredictable. Mix in more throws and vary your attack levels. Your friend has obviously memorized most of the patterns that you use on reflex, so you need to vary them. If you tell us what flowcharts and patterns you like to use then maybe we can suggest modifications or alternatives.

Posting flow charts would be an extreme help for giving you advice. Also, if you can, give us some specific examples of situations were your friend counters/reverses/parrys/blocks/etc. your moves.
