Help finding last fewemblems

Just trying to get the last half-dozen emblems in order to 100% quest mode, but I've beaten all the rivals and I haven't come across an emblem tourny in a looooong time.

I read somewhere on here ages ago a few emblems might be glitched, so I thought I'd ask anyone here who has the guide if they could tell me if these emblems are gained from tournys or from rivals (and if from rivals, which ones):

(1st number = row from top, 2nd number = column from left on the "emblem list" screen)

<u>Characters</u>:
3-5, 3-7 and 4-1.

<u>Space</u>:
1-1 and 1-3.

<u>Logos</u>:
1-8.

Argh I halved the size of the pics to make them fit better but they're exactly the same size what the hell??

 

I know that Characters 21 (Sonic), 25 (Space Channel 5 alien) and Space 1 (Sun) are all got in emblem tournaments. As for the others, I'm not sure. I know that characters 23 is NiGHTS, and I think that was an emblem tournament as well.

Logos 8 is the Sega logo and Space 3 is Earth, but I don't know whether they're emblem tourneys or not.

 

Thanks. I'm only missing Sun, Earth and the Sega logo now, all the others were from tournaments. Hopefully those last 3 are as well 'coz I don't fancy having to go in and out of an arcade until the right rival shows up.

 

Sun definitely is, as I'm doing a complete rival/emblem list, and I remember getting it as a prize in one.

Also, I've just had an emblem tournament and the prize was Space 3 (Earth). I have a bad feeling the Sega logo isn't an emblem tournament one though.

 

I've spent almost a half-hour trying to get another emblem tournament...getting fustrating now. Only 3 items left. 3! I wanna cry wahhhhhhh! :'(

Ok thanks. Although I'm not so sure anymore that looking for tournaments is any better than looking for specific rivals.

Can't wait to do it all over again when/if VF5 R comes to consoles lol. If it does I hope we don't get shafted again when it comes to items.

 

SEGA should have made it easier to get 100%. They should have tournaments show up in a list once you have played in them so you can try to go back and beat them later instead of having to do this random crap and hope you get it..

 

Yeah I agree, those laste 2 tournaments were a pain and getting 100% is, in general, a real grind after a while. Although I am enjoying the 999,999 gold for my new characters though. But why did Sega make it so that just when you've nearly got 100% items you get an item match nearly every 2nd or 3rd match? They weren't nearly that regular when I actually needed the money lol.
