I'm new to the game but I have pretty good natural talent for fighting games, but I need help. I need to learn how to use Pai better so that I can improve my chances in the tournaments that I'm entering. If someone would coach me in the game, it would be appreciated

I wish I could teach you ya some Pai tactics but I main Jeff. All I can say is play other Pai players and perhaps go through the dojo command training a few times. I'm trying to remember who all the big name Pai players are here.

One of the pai players that come into my mind is Lotus, yeah 'she' is anyone you think you want it to be, isn't that cool?

PS: Real pai player that I can think of right off the bat is shirt, zym dragon, shadowmaster (don't know if he plays anymore) these guys could help I assume?

Watch some videos to give yourself some ideas of things you can do during a match. Watch some high-level Pai players and I guarantee you they'll be doing things you never even realized were possible. Watching and learning/emulating will improve your game with some practice.

I am still around just not online since I moved again and I don't know when I will get online again. I miss playing you guys big time. It is nice to be mentioned after all this time. Between SF4 and work I didn't find much time for VF the last time I was online last.

yes, these two videos are from VF4 but the tactics here give you a really good idea of Pai's basic strengths and how to put them together with reversals, evade throw escapes and creating attack strategies. you can't go wrong by starting here. Cappo was awesome.

Other than that you need to drill the movelist, check the wiki, learn the frames of your best moves, experiment, watch videos, play other pai players and always seek out tough opponents. repeat as often as necessary.

Pai's Bokutai stance is strong and full of mixups that can keep the opponent guessing. Check out the Dojo entries for more details and don't be afraid to lose in order to test stuff out.

    Pai is uber powerful.

Whoa! How many of that still applies to VF5 Version C? Stuff like beating an elbow after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif into /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif in open stance on Kage and Jacky, and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif beating jab, elbow, and a throw at -6 was awesome. Pai has so many flow charts ON GUARD! It almost makes me think that the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif nerf might not be so bad.

Pai = Reverse nitaku galore. Ha ha!
