help!! i can't play the .wmv files

    when i play .wmv files the videos are either garbled or blank, but there is sound. i have windows media player ver. 6.4.07.1112 i tried playing the movie in quicktime but i couldn't even open the file there. i'm d/l these files off www.feixaq.com. please help. thanx in advance...

    Download Windows Media Player 7.1 or 8.0:

    the problem is, ver 7.1 is for win 98, 2000 and Me....i have Windows NT. is there no other solution?

    Not that I know of, unfortunately... there may be a hack that allows WMP7.1 to work on NT and Win95, but that's just pure speculation.

    i guess i'll just have to settle with .mov, .avi and .mpg unless someone knows of this hack. anyway, thanx for your help.

    One hack involves installing win2000 pro..

    But I'm not being very constructive here I guess..
