you mean after LD [2]+[K] or after DS [K]+[G]? After LD [2]+[K] i just go for the [8]+[P]. I tend not to use DS [K]+[G] much.

Sorry, I meant the Sitting Down Stance. I use it every now and then. People seem to "follow the old man" when I do it so it leaves them open for the [K] which hits mid. If they don't crouch well then I go for the [2]+[K].Fun stuff /versus/images/icons/tongue.gif

After the SD [2_][K] you can connect with a [3_][P] [P], unfourtunatly...the [K] doesn't connect and your so close to your opponant that the [P][K][G] HS is almost asking for a rising attack... even though the [3_][P] [P], and maybe a down attack ( i don't know...have to do some tests) are safe. /versus/images/icons/grin.gif

P.S. you have to buffer the [3_][P] like you would after the chowan. ( During the animation for the SD [2_][K] hold [3_] and tap [P]) /versus/images/icons/wink.gif

I think I heard that b,b+P into throw doesn't work, but in evo b,b+K into
throw does (b,b+K doesn't knock down in evo, and it might be one of those special moves that guarantees a throw).

Shun can do u+k+g from BT in version c. Yes he can still do it in Evo as well.

After [6][K]+[G], when do I time it to do the [6][6][P][P][P].. sequence? I saw it on some evo shun vid, but I can only get a few hits in with vf4.

sorry i didn't read the whole topic so it might be in there but i'll ask anyways, my friend plays Shun and used to do this awesome 10hit combo, but now he can't seem to remember the last part. He ends it at the double footed mule kick but i'm almost positive theres something after that. You might need to be really drunk though. if anyone knows what i'm tlakin about please give me the combo sequence, thanks.

Sorry no shun ten hits. Best shun can do is about 5 now if they dont TR you can stretch that to 8-9. Now if we are talking backstagger setup then combo it might be possible. Im not counting walls or anything your opponent can tr.

ok i'm not that technical with the game so when you listed off all those options it kind of lost me, i know what a stagger and stuff is though, nevermind i dont play Shun anymore. Do you know the combo i'm talking about though? it ends(at the moment) with his mule kick but i know there's another move that you could do after it to continue the combo. it may not be 10 hits but whats the longest/best shun combo? how many drinks required? thanks.

    Maybe he means :

[K][K][2][[P][K] But it's hardly `0 moves. You have ot have 16 drinks to do it, I think.

Your moves that you say require 9 dps only require 8. /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif
And [K][K][2][P][K] does requires 16 dps... it's only 4 hits though.

    Whats everyone's favorite follow-up for the mule kick? ( [8][K]+[G] I believe)

I almost always go for [6][P]+[K]. It doesnt do a lot of damage, but gives me 3 dps.
