Hey, GP. What's the highest rank in Japan for Evo??

Hi, GP. What's the highest rank in Japan for Evo right now? Also, what are you status like? If you already mentioned it somewhere, I'll apologize, but I don't read many of the posts here. I can not just relate Evo to myself. Well, I guess I will have to wait till I go back there in the winter and spend a couple of weeks...

Last I heard (I can't check, b/c VF.NET for EVO doesn't work w/ J-Sky yet) Chibita got up to 7-dan, and that was the highest, although i've seen a few 5-dan & 6-dans.

As for me:
Aoi 2-dan
Lion 2-dan
Shun 2-dan
Lei Fei shodan

I've got between 66% & 75% for the cards, but some have varying number of matches. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

 

Thanks, GP. Already up to 7th dan, huh. I guess he will have to wait for others to come up to the same rank. What a waste that people have to start over again! Well, I guess I will have to start over when I go there this winter. (I had about 2000 matches and it took me a while, you know...)

Well, it's not quite as bad this time, due to ranking changes.

shodan -> 2-dan requires 2 wins
2-dan -> 3-dan requires 3 wins
3-dan -> 4-dan requires 4 wins
Then it's the same as before from there.

No word on the 10-consecutive wins from Shoha-oh to Ha-oh yet.

 

Make that 9-dan. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif
