    Hi, I registered here MONTHS ago, like in April, but never made a single post. Um, yeah...so whats the deal here? Any one else here from Australia? I wanna play against someone with skill in DoA2, cause i sorta, well, I...i'm not a newbie
    hehe

    damn it am I the only person who lives in Melbourne?.Hey Myke coming to Melb to meet those voomers you were talking about any time soon? I know I was supposed to drop by syd but the Olympic stuff is scaring me off.Do any of these people play DOA or VF? I'm dying down here.

    Doomboy, I'm coming to Melbourne again on the 13th of next month, staying for about 5 days. Don't know if I'll have much time for gaming though due to other plans. But things could change at the last minute.

    Well any time at all would be most appreciated so if you can spare half an hour or so I'd be happy to suggest an arcade near where you're staying.There are a few VF machines in Melbourne I think two in the city one in Box Hill,and one in Northland shopping centre.Nothing as impressive as the 3 or 4 machines in Sega world but they'll do the job.Anyway my Apharmd B,Kage,and Hayabusa need some schooling so come and prevent my ego from reaching Drew like proportions hehe.You've gotta have some time in five days, you just gotta.:)

    Heh, yeah I suppose I will have some free time for gaming but it will most likely be during the day. How would you like me to contact you when I'm there?

    Best arcades for me would have to be in the city, and any of the games (VF3, VO, DoA2) are fine :)

    I'll make sure to email you my phone number sometime in the next week or so.The city is fine with me and there is a good arcade in the casino as well as a good choice of food.The arcade in Burke street has a VF3 and a VOOM I think.I just finished my certificate in 3d animation so I have a bit of lazy time left over before I look for a job(It's a sign) which will allow me to do another more expensive course (damn I'm sick of studying).Oh yeah read this post on the syd voc message board the other day where you were laying into this guy for his ignorance on the Taiwan step(pretty funny) I'll brush up on my virtua'isms prior so I can be spared the same fate hehe.

    I wasn't really laying into the guy was I? He hadn't played much VF2 before and sounded as if he had been misinformed by his friends, so I just thought I'd set the record straight. (For anyone interested, this guy had heard that taiwan stepping was related to an infinite glitch throw). WTF? :)

    And don't worry about learning all the jargon and what-not. My only advice to you is not to pretend you know something if you really don't :)
