I was using Wolf on the very hard setting in Arcade mode and got 3,333,000! I also beat the black opal version of Dural!

I know that people on the VFDC aren't about bragging, but I figured that this is me facing the computer not a human opponent.

I would like to see other people's high scores, so post your high scores. This is where the humility comes in because I know there are better players out there. Win streaks against friends would also be a good thing to post up on.

Wow! I was all proud of myself for breaking 2 million. Nice job with that score. I'm guessing you didn't lose even one round.

No rounds lost used alot of giant swings they always count for 4 to 5 hits! I also scored alot of ring outs I don't know how those affect the score though.

You ought to try mixing up moves and then acquiring a good score, instead of using cheapness that the CPU always falls for - such as attacking/low throwing its rising kicks or luring it into a ring out situation. The Giant Swing is so cheap against the CPU that I can't commend your score at all. Sorry.

Now, you can't attempt to beat the score you logged, without using anyone but Wolf and doing the self-same boring GS rubbish repeatedly, in a sense you've ruined your save file (although you could just wipe the records from it).

Not sure if it's right, but it's very strange that ring-outs would score highly, they are a negative thing (as they should be) on VF3's ranking mode.

Sorry for being so negative, I'm just being honest - I dislike many game players because they have a tendency to abuse things in the game, and then feel like they've acheived something when they get in the high score table.

Let me clarify a few things. I went into the options and found out that someone changed my settings in the game to easy, so it wasn't very hard that I beat it on. I also always have the health settings on 300% energy (I like longer rounds). I had to wonder why the hell it was so easy. So even if it is a high score it sucks that the settings were in easy mode. So everyone that tries this make sure you know what the settings are. The settings that I had for the game were easy, 300% energy, and best out of 5 rounds. In the future the only thing I would like to change is to make sure that the difficulty is on Very Hard.

Sigh!!! Suck up all my pride.

LOL, you had 300% energy, And Best out of five rounds? No wonder your score was so damn high. I mean I got two thirds that playing with regular energy, and best out of 3 rounds. Very hard mode (If there IS a "very hard" mode in this crappy AI). The scoring system in VF3 Tb is a little diffrent, if you tried to just Giant Swing everyone you would get a lower score for repetitiveness.

Just a little bit more clarification Difficulty Easy, the first to 3 out of 5 rounds, and 300% Energy. The only thing that I wish to change is the difficulty to very hard. Disregard the score that I put down it is kind of difficult to get in the very hard mode. I went back and did it again and I got about half of that.

Alot of things play into the score like: first attack, special attacks, normal attacks, combos, throws, counters, time completion, energy bonus, etc,. It would be neat to disect how the point system works out.

UMMMMMM. I wouldnt worry about the difficulty Level, dude, even at "VERY Hard" mode you can still LAnd 180 degree throws (Giant swing ) and 270 degree throws(Heavens GAte) with impunity. I mean like in EVERY exchange. This game has "very hard" mode in NAME ONLY. The CPU is a joke.

Im going to test to see if I can still do this in 360 version vf5 (probally can) to see if they really improved the AI or if they're just bullshitting us.
