How are the buttons arranged on VF5 arcade cabs?

I bought a PS3 recently, with VF5 and SF4 and a few other games. I also bought an adaptor to use my modded PS2 arcade stick. I'm bored of SF4 and I'm gonna start playing VF5.

I recently started using an arcade stick for fighters instead of a controller. I played VF4 in an arcade in Florida a long time ago, but I can't remember how the buttons were arranged. I want to get used to playing VF5 with a button arrangement as close to the true arcade button arrangement as I can get on this arcade stick. I get the chance to travel on occasion, and if I'm lucky enough to come across a VF4 / VF4:evo / VF5 / VF5:R machine I want to be accustomed to that button arrangement.

Which 3 buttons should I use on this arcade stick?

So far I've been using L2, X, and Circle, but I think I've been doing it wrong so far. Would L2, L1, and Square be more accurate to the arcade setup? Or maybe L2, Square, and Triangle? Or something else?

So X, Triangle, and R1 are probably the 3 buttons on my stick that are closest to the true arcade arrangement.
