I have been trying to figure out how to make the double palm come out instantaneously right after the f,f,f+p for akira. Do I have to hold G right after the elbow? I can execute the double palm without being fully crouched by doing a qcb motion and then pressing f. I just can't do what the computer does to me with the dash elbow followed by double palm with almost no pause in between it.

I don't really play Akira so I'm not sure this is correct, but I think this is how it's done. After you do the elbow, you do the modified double palm (m-dbpl) by doing d/f, d/f, b, f+p right after. If I am wrong I'm sure someone will correct this.

After the elbow, let the control go back to neutral, then input d/b,d/b, b, f+P. Thats your modified double palm. It wont come out as a combo at first because you'll probably be doing it too slow. Keep practicing the motion and just speed it up gradually.
