How do you customize your fighters?

Well since I'm an anime/manga geek I try to make some people look like characters from anime/manga I like. Some examples include making Kage look like Naruto Uzumaki, Brad look like Sasuke Uchiha and Aoi look like Sakura Haruno. Yes I'm that much of a Naruto fanatic. Other characters include making Pai Chan look like Chun Li. I've also tried to make Wolf like Hulk Hogan and Jeffry look like Mr.T.

This cracks me up, this is just an awesome response no sarcasm.

 

With almost all of my characters, I dont think theres many choices that look good. I have only bothered to really collect items for a handful of characters anyway.

Akira is the only character I have with whom I have managed to make a passable costume with all the 4 costume slots.(I have all items) Most characters only have one decent. For instance Kages first costume is ok, but the other 3 really don't strike me as much no matter what items I use. Especially if I would want to copycat some other game character like in topic.

Also I dont like to use bright colors, im more of a black and white-type. I like strong contrasts though.

My Akiras b-costume is visible here at about 0:26. Skatanmilla called it "lord of flies"-Akira. I don't know what he meant. I tried originally to make it look like Tengu, complete with the mask, but that hotdog-nose was just too ugly. So I removed the mask and left the rest.

My Akiras a-costume is usually tanned and shirtless, and carries the gold medal as a sign that Im the finnish champion /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

 

Yeah, I tend to like white over other color choices too. Sarah's white jeans are where it's at! I usually choose the eye patch too because I had to wear one in real life in order to function for a while because I have double vision resulting from an operation I had about 3 years ago.

I don't much like Sarah's party dress or the long coat, so I could care less about the options that are available with them. I finished off quest mode simply to unlock all the achievements.

 

i tried to make my type a jacky look like a driver on best motoring (since they always wear the tankata green racing suits).

my type b jacky is supposed to look like random hajile from snatcher.

 

Well, since I am a Lion player, I don't really have much to work with I have made him look pretty cool though, although it took ages, since alot of his better clothes are expensive
This is how I've customized my Lion:

Costume A: What I like to call 'DJ Lion' lol, He's got a black cap, black vest, black nbr shirt, headphones, slim sunnies, inline skates and black shorts with White hightops, and black nbr wristbands. He REALLY looks like a DJ lol

Costume B: My 'Casual/Rocker' Lion. Not much exciting here, just a Red 3/4 Shirt, Permed brown hair, brown wristband, simple red sneakers, gray casual pants, blue sunnies, orange cell phone and... yeah think thats about it

Costume C (Default Costume): My 'Masquerade Ball/Formal Wear' Lion lol , this one's my fave, and it actually makes him suit his 'Palace' stage
Silver Ponytail, Masquerade Ball Mask, Makeup, Blue Sting Vest, Green Light Bracelet, Black Sting Slacks and White Leather Shoes
I was going for a phantom of the opera effect.. I think I epically failed

and lastly...

Costume D (Sub-Costume): My 'Hoody/Workout/Red' Lion, (this one cost a whole shitload of gold :|)
Red Workout Wear, Red Middle Part Hair, Red Headband, Headphones, Red Contacts, Red Workout Pants, Orange Cellphone, Red Simple Sneakers.

 

I feel that my Sarah's have multiple costumes that are nice. Possibly most out of all characters.

My Sarah a-costume is either
- all-white leather bodysuit, slicked blond hair, matching dark gloves and boots with yellow sunglasses, suntan, pink makeup, possibly the rose-choker or heart-necklace (playboy-sarah)
- black leather upper part, black d-shorts, demon wings, black ponytail or similar hairdo, red horns, suntan (devil sarah part 1)

Sarah's b costume I usually setup as a variation of the devil-theme: with demon wings, black dress, black straight boots, casual wear, that DL content gold necklace, chain belt, suntan ofc, red eyes etc. (devil sarah part 2)

Sarahs D-costume, I havent found a way to make her coat match with anything else so I usually just set it up with black coat, black shorts, black cowboy hat and the rest doesnt matter as much. Any other color apart from black doesnt look good because her costume-pieces dont match. For instance her red d-shorts are of different hue than her red a-bodysuit. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif Same goes for basically any other color.

I think her a-costume can also be setup to look like Lara croft. The blueish top looks just the right color.

I gotta say I love the DLC for Shun with his green hair!!

 

I tried to make Jacky look like me l0l.

 

I wish I had a decent cam so I could take a picture of my Aoi...

But, anyways, I'll just list her items.

I go crazy with the custimazation. My Shun loos like a shadow.

I usually keep my favorite 2 costumes quite stylish with contrasting colors and cool hair,

and the other 2 costumes i try to make it look like they ran through a washing line /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

 

Mine look pretty gay.

He has pants that look more gay than anything in the game imo.. Especially with bare upper body /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
