How many of you play Blizzard games?

I have seen numerous posts of Blizzard games, mainly Diablo 2/LOD, and Starcraft:BW


I used to play Starcraft and Brood War alot, and then switched to Diablo2 for a while. When Warcraft 3 came out, I didn't like it, so I went back to Starcraft. I will never play the Lost Vikings though......

I dislike WC 3.
I used to play D2/LoD a lot(all my friends played it- real life friends), it was the only game that could take me from TTT or VF4. Too bad my friends weren't in TTT or VF4 then /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif Starcraft and VF 4 are the only two games I play anymore and I play them a ton

 

Bart, any point you're trying to make about empnova spamming is instantly nullified by the fact that you're spamming here too.

He started a thread about something he likes, and something a few thousand other people like... some of them probably want to discuss it.

Please don't interfere with that. Lead by example - pick your battles and make a point worth making... don't create new posts just to fling poo at someone out of the blue.

-What race do you prefer to play as in Starcraft, and why?


Most of the time I am hesistant to choose Protoss, b/c I suck with them. So depending on the map, I am nearly always Terran, or sometimes Zerg.

With Terran I usually wall of my ramp/choke point, and tech for a double siege tank drop on my opponents ridge. I also abuse mass marines and medics, and then add siege tanks to the mix when I need the firepower.

Because of patch 1.10 though, I have not played good online SC in a while, that patch really infuriates me, sometimes Blizzard screws up........not much you can do about it though.

This is one of the best SC sites (and its in English). Check the "most pimpest plays" section, it is pretty damn cool.

 

I play Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction daily and have played everyday since being in the Diablo 2 beta. It's one of those game that I got addicted to and never stopped liking. Although, my tastes have changed in it. I started out doing nothing, but PvM in softcore. Later I started PvP, then Hardcore, and even did Hardcore PK. Now I just play Hardcore PvM/MF and help friends if they need it. I have a softcore account,b ut it is mainly for rushing people so they can play hardcore. Patch 1.10 is suppose to change a lot of how LoD is played, so I know my addiciton will continue for quite some time. That is *IF* bliz releases the patch. It has been coming *SOON* for about a year now, but lately a lot of information and screenshots have been releases. The Warcraft and Starcraft games I never really got into, but I own them. They are fun ocassionally, but I can't play any RTS for very long. The upcoming World of Warcraft game is looking exceptional and I will have to upgrade my computer in the ner future because I know I am going to be playing it and it's reqs are definitely out of my league according to testing rumors.

I used to do PvP a lot in D2 until all the losers started cheating, so my friends and I just played PvM soft. Gotta love Blizzard delaying everything

Man, I don't know how you guys play HC. I've had so many lag deaths or deaths from drops. I would never do it, it would be too stressful for me

 

Take your time, pick your fights, and remember that death waits around every corner. Also, get a good net connection and a belt for of Full-Rejuv's. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Hardcore makes the game nerve-racking and fun. I like the adrenaline rush I get after a good battle with a boss that is closer than I expected it to be. I have lost my fair share of characters due to lag deaths, but thats expected in any online game IMO.

 

I've played like every Blizzard game ever! they are one of my favorite game companies and they never really fail to produce a really well thought out product. I know some people don't like WC3 but i personally love it, maybe cuz i love the Warcraft world and i'm a big fantasy fan. Starcraft was cool but didn't hold my attention as long as it probably should have. The Diablo games are freaking Awesome too! but i just wish there was more interactiveness then just click click click, gets kinda boring.... i know i know , on a computer you can really only click, LOL, but you know what i mean.

i haven't played WC3 forever! i now have C&C generals and thats been taking up some time, nevermind i hated when they nerfed my Druids of the Talon,but i guess the new patch is better. I'll play you some time but dont expect a huge challenge i'm used to tanks and missiles and superweapons /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif also i'd much rather play you in some Evo!!!! i hate Ver. C!

 

Speaking of the Frozen Throne. It comes out in a couple of weeks /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif!


Starcraft Ghost, like most other Blizzard games will be amazing, but also like most Blizzard games, it is gonna get delated, alot. So far it has been pushed back from "2003" to "early 2004."

Any of you gonna buy World of Warcraft, it looks neat but, I don't know if I want to pay ( /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif) for a game every damn month.....

 

ya i'm not big on the montly payment either but i love the warcraft world so much i'm atleast gonna check the game out. And Shang does Andrew have WC3 too? cuz if you guys came up here for some Evo play and brought your CDs we could have a LAN game at my house when not playing EVO.
