How much should the life setting in VS mode be???

im sure back in the day most vf's were set to about 200 for arcade 1player play, and in vs it went up to 250ish, some vf3s were set to 300!
so in but in vf on ps2 you cant set it to 250, only 240/260 i play on either and with the counter on 45, but some peeps like 30! donno why? how do you lot set it?

45 seconds
3 rounds to win the match
This seems to be pretty much the only setting I ever see used on any video or at our meets.

 

Whichever settings you want, it's your game.
Gathering : 200 ; 45 ; 3 or whatever everyone agrees to.
But other than that do what you like, I use the same settings as EmX but with 60 seconds.

 

To simulate the VF.Net arcade, Quest or Kumite mode...

Use 200 life bars, 45 second clock, and 3 rounds to win for the settings, (hit flash is your choice).

Though I have seen several arcades that have 30, and 60 second timers, but most of those are non VF.Net machines.

 

I prefer 60-second, 400-life, 1 match point rounds... Makes you more nervous than usual when forced towards the edge of the ring.

 

im pretty sure in kumite and quest it goes up to 260-45sec-3 rounds?
can i get a witness?
