Harlem and the Bronx are safest spot in the city during a natural disaster. All the power lines for the rest of the city come through the bronx and then through Harlem. If we lose power the whole city goes out. Just gotta stay home for another day.

Those photos of the swells is crazy though man.

Apparently that explosion might have something to do with the NYU transformers that powered their hospital's back up power. They're moving the patients to a new hospital now. It's madness downtown man. I don't think I'm ever moving to a flood zone A,B,C ever in the future.

it's going to take more than a hurricane to mess me up. That said, feeling my building shake from wind in a 5 story apt is scary as fuckkk.

Residents from various parts of West Virginia and the western region of Maryland has had over two feet of snow dumped on them directly because of Sandy, and it isn't even November yet. Unbelievable.

Blizzard warnings are also showing up all over the Appalachian Mountains.

Um power plant might not be able to take too much water. It's a nuclear plant btw.

 

You aint that far from SC. Everytime there is some kind of natural disaster on the eastcoast it seems like it just misses South Carolina and we are spared. I'm thankful for that.
