At best online matches are a rough estimate of the outcome of a match between two players. There's frame lag, combos that have to be telegraphed rather than hit-confirmed, the potential for slowdown or screen freezing. It's a New York to Florida connection, so yes lag will be an issue, even with the latest Fiber optic connections. So really, what Is a win on XBL going to prove? Is it worth carrying on in this fashion?​
