I picked up the limited edition. Seemed kinda expensive but it came with the game, DVD with some tourney footage (I think), a book, mouse pad, and a cell phone strap.

The game is OK. It's simply a play-any-variation of the chars from SF2-SSF2Turbo. You can choose from three different types of music: original SF2 music (CPS1), original SSF2(Turbo) music (CPS2) or arranged.

Another treat is that they included Street Fighter The Animated Movie on the game disc. Unfortunately the video quality isn't that great and also some parts have been cut out.

I suppose it's worth the $30 just the game. The limited box cost more like $80 though.

According to gameplay the official copies out here on 2nd April or something!

I actually have all the collections of SF2 from the psone ports but this is gonna take pride of place on my shelf. SF2 rocks man!

Capcom was lazy. Such a shame... a good review right here.

I bought this game while over in Japan for my break a week ago and although it is pretty fun for two player, I am left wondering what the fuck is up with Super SFII Turbo Claw's off the wall special move. I have played a ton of ST and with him as by business character, but when I try to do the off the wall special where he either grabs you or attacks on the way down, half of the time I am getting jumping kicks, and the other half of the time I am getting flip kicks. I thought I was just teh sux, but my friend Slips was trying it too and we were both having probs with the command. When we went back to the old versions of Claw, we had no problems with the move and got it 100% of the time. What the fuck?

    conk out,
not fucking over my bidness character, just...

    THANKS A LOT CAPCOM!!!! /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Capcom is definatly the laziest producer - ever. They have done nothing in the last 5 years to advance the system they started..which is a damn shame.

Yes capcom is very lazy...but I'm currently blinded by hazy memories of playing the coin-op of SF2 non-stop. To me it was the first game I was ever interested in learning how to play so I'll be getting a copy regardless of what reviewers etc say about the actual game.

It was only a matter of time before footage of the arcade game where put online, and of course the usual source of amazing Capcom matches comes through once again /versus/images/graemlins/shocked.gif with more awesome ST footage.

Acho just put up a dozen or so matches of the arcade version of this game. Highlights include a Bison (Balrog) player landing a Seven, some nice Blanka playing, and some incredible shoryuken yomi from a Ken player /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

PS: Don't direct link anything from Acho, not even the url for the movie page. On the left hand side, if you see Link (on the bottom), and then counting up, you should see BBS, and then counting up one more you will see some Japanese characters, that is the link for the movie page. Once you get there, the second to last set of links (it's flashing blue for christ's sake) is the set containing these matches. Don't direct link these matches! Acho hates foreigners leeching movies, and direct linking makes their blood boil.

Umm, while these matches are from ST (a tournament actually), I don't believe it has anything to do with HSF2:AE at all.

ST tournaments, and footage if you knew where to look besides a-cho, have been an ongoing thing in Japan for a very long time.
