    I am a 1st dan and I have played about 8 guys and still not gotten a ranking match does anyone know when i will get one???

    When you reach the Dan ranks, all that counts are matches against same ranked opponents. If you beat one, you'll get a victory point. Defeat 5 opponents of your rank and you will be promoted. But beware, losing against a same rank opponent, loses a victory point. For more information on ranking matches, please refer to this FAQ:
