I need Kumite help.......I'm new.....please help

Ok......I have reached the First Dan Rank but am not going any higher........is there something really important I need to do or have I reached the highest rank? <-------- i like that Jacky move.

 

here's what you do, you see after the Kyu ranks, experience points are no longer in use, now its all about victory points, and you can only get this with SAME RANK opponents, meaning if your a first dan you need to win against first dan, for the dan section (1st to 10th Dan) you need 5 Victory point, meaning you have to beat five dans, and you dont have to worry about it much coz it doesn't have to be in a winning streak you just need +5 victory point, just beat 5 1st dans to get to second dan, but note that since when you win againts the same rank opponent, in your case a 1st dan you get a victory point (+1VP) so when you loose to a same rank opponent you get -1VP, that should be it for more info about this go here:

Well first you need to learn how to guard and evade to stay alive in the higher levels.Then you need to fight 4 1st daners to get a ranking match.Then you fight another one in the ranking match. /versus/images/icons/wink.gif /versus/images/icons/grin.gif
