If Final Showdown is at Evo 2012, will you attend?

SEGA can organize a side tournament at EVO in time, such a great chance to promote FS in the largest event.

At the very least Fuudo and Itabashi Zangief will be there, so... yeah...

If Sega is smart they will disallow any Japanese-based players from entering. I mean, even if I were to go I don't think it'd be very fair for me to enter considering I have a 5 year head start on everyone else...

I may go, EVO is far away from now so I don't know atm what my financial situation and such will look like but if everything is in shape I'm there. Not alone though...

 

If it was this year, I would not be able to go.

However, if I knew well enough in advance for 2013, I would definitely go and make plans and preparations!

Given Evo's schedule, 2012 just wouldn't be possible for me

 

Although I would like to attend EVO this year, if I did I would not enter the VF tournament. Sorry but I'm just not into giving away free money. Two months of experience versus X years (don't know FS release date in Japan) of JP exerience is a no go for me. Since Japanese players will be amongst the entrants it will be pointless in my opinion to compete and expect to win much less get out of the pools. If it was a USA only tournament then I would gladly enter.

 

I doubt it's going to cost much money if at all because it's most likely going to be a side tournament instead of main stage like SF and such. Assuming it's free, would you compete?

 

The trip is costly and I'd rather not spend that much money to attend a side tourney.

I just don't play fighting games anymore, although I still game, just on the PC. It's funny, but I'm not totally sure if I'll even get FS... time will tell though.

And Talis, if at any point you have some VF gatherings in the future though, let me know cause I'll definitely attend the ones I can, just to catch up and everything.

I think a mod should re-name this thread to EVO planning for the VFDC crew and who's going and not since it's officially at EVO now.
