IGN Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution Media page


IGN just addded massive amounts of VF videos considering it is an "American" site. This is very promising of how VF is going to be received in America when it is released in the states /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif.



Added:OMG OMG OMG!! If you can get everyone to watch these fucking videos, Sega is the best omg omg, don't want to spoil it. But I'll give a hint /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif (can't resist) you remember a certain game mode that appeared at a large tournament which had exhibition matches played of it by famous players.............well.........................just watch the damn videos.

PS: the videos are streaming cuz IGN suxxors like that sometimes /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif

 

By the way, do not attempt to mirror these files anywhere on the internet for public download, as IGN hosts the files as part of a "pay for use" subscription service that they charge monthly to annual fees for.


The rule is that you are only allowed to view five media files per 24 hours (but deleting some cookies and temp files here or there *cough cough* can fix that) ahem...... /versus/images/graemlins/wink.gif

It is legal to capture the media via streambox or any other similar program, you can also download them from the direct link on IGN, but you are *cough* "limited to five"*cough*

 

It's good to see that IGN is consistently dependable for one thing: the shittiest quality gameplay movies on the planet. Great job scrubbing "play" movies out again, guys!

 

Under the downloadable section, I recommend the 10th anniversary title screen/char. select, 10th anniversary intro, the goh vs jeffry oldschool, and the lion vs jacky oldschool. All show nifty VF1-ness, but the battles ones are neat because they show VF1 physics. High jumps, takeoff kicks abound. There are also more subtle changes like jacky's sidekick animation and jeffry's hell stab causing knockdown instead of crumple.

 

I hate to sound like an idiot but I can't stream a damn movie, I have the latest movie player. Either way this news makes the save system and the red bar more palatable.

Another update, this time they added some screen shots , mainly of Goh/Brad/Sarah all dressed up in various costumes, with the default names.

They also added a new video (streaming only), which is composed of 10th ann. clips, and quest mode clips (some arcade/vs clips too maybe). All running to the "intro" theme of VF. This is an intro to the game, it is 1:19 long.

 

Nice video. And screens.

I wonder if the IGN editors actually did all those movies or did they just grab some replays? =)
