Ikaruga on XBLA - shmups anyone?

I've seen that some VFDCers are playing Ikaruga. Is anybody else into shooters?

 

Yeah, i've liked shooters ever since rtype in arcades / gradius on nes / thunderforce on genesis.

 

Ikaruga was hot when I played it on DC. I'm pissed. Now I gotta go grab MS points.

Ikaruga is awesome, but I want Radiant Silvergun with upgraded graphics.

 

Word. But you need to understand that RS is a Massive game, compare to Ikuruga....But, who said it had to be on XBLA. Give me a Blu-Ray version or DVD-9, I'll buy it again. I'm surprise that crap "Trigger Heart" get's release on XBLA, but not Under Defeat. Can't wait for the Cave shumps to start coming out.

Great game, haven't played it since Dreamcast though. There's better shooters out there but i'm desperate to get some cash so I can play this again, haha.

As you can see, I can't ever get over SnS II's translation from hell.

 

LOL! You know I was joking about the whole XS games thing right? I hope they don't touch this franchice with a Ten Foot pole. LOL! But you have to admit, their translation is CHESSE, at it's finest, up their with Streamline Dubings in the 80's and early 90's.

 

I have Ikaruga for gamecube . Farthest I got was level 4 before I got tired of dying. It was very fun, but not my type of game. All my friends got into it right after I was bored of it, but of course they couldn't get past level 2, so they were more of a handicap then help heh.

 

Ikaruga is the most aesthetically pleasing shooter I've ever played. Level 3 is a personal fave.

I hope Treasure makes a third in the series. Radiant Silvergun was pretty fantastic too.

i can chain pretty well up until the 3rd level. my goal now is to chain perfectly on every level...
