who has the Japanese version and would like to play some games online?

Game will work on U.S. Ps3 but make sure you get the Japanese version as the Asian version has zero online play

Hold up, the Asian version doesn't have online play? That's crazy! Thanks for the info. I'll have this title on Tuesday. I'll hit you up. Hows the lag btw, if any.

Are you guys using any steering wheel controller? The Logitech G25 controller sounds ideal to play this game; wonder if it supports it?

slight lag against japanese players none with usa players. I also havent noticed any typical racing game skipping issues.

Playing with a dualshock is tough, but I dont want to fork more money for a wheel

Im also new to the series, so what is the best way to control drifting on sharp corners?

I wonder what wheels work with this game? Are there any new courses from the arcade version?

Pump the brakes when you think your going to oversteer, and control the car by slightly tapping the analog in the direction you desire. This also depends and what type of car your using. If your using a 4WD car, entering a turn is very different compare to a FWD car. Basically, you attack the turn with good speed with a FWD, turn, brake(let it drift) then mess with the accel(Pump) or brake for fine tuning. On a 4WD, you brake then turn(let it drift) and mess with the accel(Pump)or brake if you feel your going wipe out. These are the same techniques I used in the arcade version(Without the pad of course)They should translate with pad, just need to adjust to it. Try to manage your car with the analog stick all the time while drifting to fine tune the dirft.

thx for the help and I agree with everything you said. Im using the Sube STI. its just about getting the timing right.

Plus every time I upgrade the car its getting easier to control and practice makes perfect
