Insert Coin 09 - UK Arcade Expo - 18-19th July

On Saturday the 18th and Sunday 19th of July, the first Insert Coin Arcade Amusement Expo in the UK will be being held in the Rodber Suite in Northampton.

There will be around 250 games on show, with a large selection of fighting games including:

X-Men vs Street Fighter

Several of these have multiple cabinets of different size and shape, and there are a lot more games at the event (not just fighters - plenty of scrolling shooters, racers and classic arcade games). There's a full list that should be expanding between now and the event on the official site.

In addition to the games, there will be several tournaments, raffle to win an arcade machine, several arcade parts stalls, repair stands, cosplay competition, the list goes on.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online - £15 for one day's entry, £23 for two (all prices are on the website).

I should be heading there for both days. If anyone else is going and wants to meet up, then let me know.

It would be nice if R was there, but I highly doubt it will be.

Do you live around there? how far do you have to travel?

 

I don't live round there, but some friends are driving down there (it's about 100 miles away) and I'm probably going with them. I just need confirmation of room in their car.
