Noel, these short clips of Jacky uramawari setups are great! Can I mirror them on the VF4fx server?

That was absolutely spectacular! I knew it was only a matter of time before someone figured out ura techniques for VF4. I'll definitely be spreading the word at the local arcade, so everyone can try it out with different characters.

    hello noel,

thank you for the movies! do you know if it is possible for the opponent to struggle and evade (8 or 2) the 6K after jacky hits them with blind P+K -> 66K? thanks.

hehehe, f,f+K to the back is EVIL! Sigh.... I'm afraid to see other characters find ways to set this up and abuse it....

I guess I'm also excited to see it when it happens too....

What happens if you don't get up with a rising kick? Will you still get up confused?

My guess, based on having this situation happen a lot, is that if you don't get up with a rising kick, you'll generally be fine. If the opponent is behind you, you can simply defend their attack or avoid their throw. Maybe even attack them.

The ura game I've played in VF4 pretty much only happens when somebody does a rising attack, but it's pretty fun. Just haven't developed anything super abusive in such a situation like this Jacky has.

Wow very nice. But what if your opponet jumps right back up or rolls back or to the side? does any of thoughs combos still work?

pyrexia vf4 has the first capture of this jacky uramawari setup being applied in a match setting that i've come across. in the final round jacky manages a P+G after kage blocks his knee, jacky then crouch dashes forward (baiting a rising midkick?) hops over the downed kage who then rises back turned towards jacky with the head towards face down forward flop rising kick. jacky continues with TT P+K -> f,f+K (stagger) -> b+K+G -> stomp, draining about 50% of kage's lifebar for the win.

Did anyone manage to pull this off during real competitive conditions? Cause I tried, and all that happens is I get kicked out of the air by my opponent's rising kick. Can anyone verify the usefulness of this setup?

No. If the opponent quick rises or tech rolls, then none of the ura stuff works. That's why throws and flop hits are the best setups, since the insure that your opponent will not TR or QR.

I posted up a set off back stagger stuff in the regular VF forum for a few characters. Jacky's is the easiest overall, since he has a built in TT that sets the combo off. Other characters actually need to be facing their opponent first to start them back stagger combos, but theirs are just as strong.(or stronger in some cases i.e. Shun, Akira)

you probably need the latest version of divx, or the latest version of windows media player.
www.windowsmedia.com and click "download windows media player" to get the latest windows media player... 6.4 I think if you're on windows95 ... 7.1 if you're on anything else.

If all else fails msg me and I'll find a way to get your clip working.
