Introduction

I figured it would be impolite to start posting without introducing myself. I'm a former MA Tekken player who retired in favor of Virtua Fighter, My name is Machina Ex Deo, latin for Machine from God. I know very little about this game, but have been interested in learning it for a while. Yes, I was the co-leader of Team Prophecy, the crew that terrorized the Holyoke Mall scene, and yes, I did beat ironzen's feng with Lili (good times, man, good times). Just figured I'd introduce myself before I assaulted the board with questions.

Hey, I'm new here myself! I too switched over from another fighting series, although I was playing Guilty Gear X2: Reload. After Slash came out (pretty recently)...I figured I didn't want to bother continuing with that series. Been a big VF fan since I got VF2 on the Saturn, but I never played it as a "hardcore fighting fan" until now with VF4: Evo. So hopefully I can get pretty good so that when we finally get VF5 brought to the states, I can be a part of the community.

Anyway, good seeing ya on the boards, and hopefully we'll both become regular members ^.^

So. I was beginning to wonder if anyone introduced themselves here, or if everyone just knew a guy who knew a guy who knew a guy. But lookie what I found buried beneath the treasure of the general forum madness!

Now, I should uh... kind of introduce myself, huh?

I play anything basically that comes my way. I'm very diverse when it comes to games. I can't say I came from one fandom to this one, because I don't really have a general fanbase I follow religiously.

I do however have a hate-love relationship with VF.

Basically, it's the moody bitch and I'm the nice guy. Only I'm a chick. Go figure. However, I am kind of new to VF as a whole, and I don't have the mental capacity for the mad-crazy frame by frame combo mastery that I have seen others do and *shifty eyes* heard others talk about.

Despite that, it's actually kind of fun to hear a half drunk rabid VF fan talk about technicalities in a foreign VFish language for about fifteen minutes straight, while I nod and smile the entire time. It's scary... yet eerily amusing.

Yeah. I think I've talked enough. Just one major flaw for me when it comes to VF as well as other fighting games. My hand-eye coordination sucks ASS.

 

welcome aboard. for now don't mind the technicality of VF just enjoy the game and you'll sure understand it in the process. ^_^

I usually play VF by myself in my basement. I wish I had people to play VF with but I have no friends. I like to come to VFDC to talk about why there is no online mode for VF5, but I am sad because someone said i'm just a nerd who can't get laid and he is right. The last time I tried to talk to a girl I get punched in the face, and I had to lie to my mom about it when I got home. I told her I fell.

I wish VF was online because I'm too ugly and nerdy to make friends in real life, and I'm not that good at the game. If VF was online then I can cheat and make my win record high, and make people think I'm really good. Then I can tell other people they suck so I can feel better about myself. Since there is no online though, I just have to stay in my basement and play VF with myself and my Wii.

Do you guys have any girlfriends? I want to know what it's like to have one.

My name is Slawomir Krukowski(seriously)and just like tonyfamilia, I also am a VF addict. I somehow managed to avoid playing VF4:Evo on my PS2 fo few months(yaaaaaaaay!!!)... but that's not completely true. When I read that VF5 comes out in February....It's really hard to talk about it.
I just couldn't help it, I rushed into VF world again, and by accident (yeah, right !!!) I harmed my precious Dual Shock... He's gone now.*sob*

I hope that with some help from all of you, I could regain my mental health, and once that happens, I am going to be able to continue living (play VF5) as a normal person, as a part of normally functioning society (of VF maniacs).
