If Tekken 8 has already sold 2 million+ copies and we have:

    • Cost of the game between $80 and $300
    • Cost of individual DLC character $8 with a projected 10 - 20 DLC characters coming:unsure:
    • In-game store $$$$$$???
    • Battle Pass $$$$$
Tekken 8 could cost between $1500 - $2500 when all is said and done and season 4 is over.:(

When Bandai-Namco is squeezing hundreds of dollars per Tekken player and there are a couple million Tekken players, doesn't all of this pay for Tekken World Tour Prize Money:confused:

Its possible that some of the TWT prize money winners (e,g those that won under $2000) might not get back the money that they ultimately spent on Tekken 7 or will spend on Tekken 8:oops:

After you account for travel, hotel, food, etc, and possibly between $300 to $2500 for the game (ALL DLC, Characters, and the in game store) not to mention streaming costs, and hours put in, some e-sports hopefuls might not be breaking even:cautious:

So a couple hundred thousand in prize money is peanuts compared to money Bandai-Namco will rake in off of the players over the next few years:whistle:

Will the pro players and e-sports hopefuls even get back the money they put into the game:rolleyes:

Well if that is their intention, then we could say, this is namco"s version of Tecmo's DOA5 $1000 + costume dlc.:p
