1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

This is one the big reason im purchasing it, aside from VF5 of course. I thought I remember seeing a post where someone said the tried to connect it to the pc but it was to no avail.

The stick works fine, you just need to use emulator software that will recognize inputs from the hat switch.

I can confirm that the VSHG works with MAME32 and Nebula (no driver neede). Windows XP recognized both of my sticks right away. It does not work with NeoRageX since the actual stick won't register. The buttons will.

How did you get the stick to input as up/left/right/down, etc.? I am using MAME32 and I get the buttons to work but not the stick itself. I tried the "JoyToKey" program above also, I was able to get the stick to control my mouse and the up/down/left/right buttons, but as soon as I ran MAME32 it stopped working. If it matters I'm trying to play King Of Fighters 2000 as my test game.

    - I didn't do anything special. After the VSHG is recognized, I simply enabled Joystick in the "Options > Default Game Options > Controllers > Enable Joystick Input" menu. I loaded up a game and the hit the Tab key. From there, I mapped the joystick controls. Try mapping the commands at least once.

Yeah, I got it to work by doing the "Tab" thing and configuring MAME32. I have never used MAME before, but thanks alot for the tips on here to help me get it to work. I'm happy now ^_^
