Is there some trick to getting orbs?

    I fought Shigeo a little while ago, won 3-0 against him. I need a blue orb for my 2nd orb item for Kage. Shigeo did not give his up after I won, despite having it. What's up with that? Can I only take orbs from people that have only one?

    Orb exchanges will only occur when both parties stand to win/lose an orb. That is, each party must have an orb the other party needs. Shigeo didn't give up his blue orb because you didn't have any orbs he didn't already have.

    That's the way orbs are exchanged in Evo now. If you fight against someone with a full set of orbs, you'll never take an orb off them because, obviously, you don't have any orbs they need.
