Item matches.

In Virtua Fighter Evo sometimes you get 'Winner gets a Prize' match.i am on 9th dan and i only had a couple.My dad is on3rd dan and he had so much so he bought every item he unlocked in the shop.Is there anything you have to do to get those matches? /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

 

That does seem a little odd. Are you sure he hasn't earned some money from the special competitions, such as the wall death matches etc, which reward you with 3000 for winning?

The is no way to increase the liklihood of these matches, ans perhaps the fact that you are a higher dan but have had less of these matches signals the fact that you are a better player, and have rose through the ranks quicker, having had less matches in total?

Just keep at it. As you continue through the arcades, the number of these matches will increase.
