I'm back from my marvelous holidays. I had no computer for 1 month and I got Evo while on holidays. I'm using Akira, and i did all the tactics advice (combos etc...I had to dominate Knee =P) and the tutorial stuff. Right now I need some big fucking advice on doing the Challenge stuff. I can't do all those Throw Escapes!!! I did the evading throw escape really easily with my evo arcade stick. But the rest is for maniacs only. What do I look like? Shinz??!

BTW, what do the stars in front of each rank in Arcade (quest) info mean. And is there a pattern for prizes (gold/item).

I'm not going to search through the 4000 posts I didn't read while on holidays, so answer me if possible. If not, don't flame.

Any place to check out Akira's Item's and how to get them? Where do I get the Hairy Face item?
(Both Questions apply to Ogi, who seems to be the item guy around here latelly since both Mike and Creed seem to be on holidays).

What do I win for getting Challenge mode completed with Akira?

What do I win for getting 100% at arcades?

Thank you very much. Your contribution is very much appreciated. Stay cool.

Well, I think you dont win anything for 100% in arcades ( I 100%ed only one though, so dont take my word on it)

I think you get money/some item for beating Challange

I'm wondering about the stars myself.

yellow star next to your opponent stats means that you have fought with him before...

No, not that. He means when you select an arcade and select the arcade info, certain ranks have a random number of stars.

Oh, that means how many of that rank are in the arcade as far as I know.

Impossible. There are arcades with one star in one rank, and there are more than 2 guys from that rank in the same arcade. I think it has nothing to do with that. If you count all the stars from one arcade, imagining 20 in the 5th arcade (I don't know how many they are, but it's a much smaller number...) and then you fight in the arcade, you hae something like 40+ oponnents.

Ok well if the stars in the actual fights mean you've already fought them, then maybe thats what they are on the list too. How many of each rank you've fought. Or maybe it's how many there are left to find...?

I was talking about a "fresh new Arcade". Which means: neither have you fought there, nor are those the guys "left to fight" on the arcade, because they are much much more. It's the rank distribution, all right. But what the fuck does that mean? I think it has something to do with the way you "evolve" in the arcades. The more stars on 5thdan-7thdan (for example) the fast you rank up from 5th to 7th dan. My lame opinion..

sounds possible, maybe it's not the exact number of people there in a certain rank but more of a general rating. Like 5 stars doesnt mean 5 actual people but a high chance of encountering one.

I'm gonna look and see if it's posted up anywhere

Ok apparently they stand for the percentage of the particular ranks in the arcade. Pretty vague but oh well

Thanks to EmpNovA for the info

That IS the list of players in that arcade but there are some others that travel from arcade to arcade. If you beat them in an arcade where they don't belong your arcade completition percentage will not increase.
