It's those damn air conditioners!

Who here is affected by the power outage, not that you can post or anything /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif?

I had a pretty bad brown out, but it passed. Oddly, I, and maybe 25 other houses, are the only ones with power for miles......

 

I was affected. Power just got on 5 mins ago. It lasted 8 hours here in Toronto.

 

I was also affected i got my power this morning. I'm one of the lucky ones, it seems about half of most cities have power. I don't know if their is any definite cause of the problem, i've heard stories of a plant being hit with lightning /versus/images/graemlins/smirk.gif a fire in a U.S plant, and a trip in the system which took everything else out (CNN said something like that).

 

That's exactly what my dad said. It's those air conditioners fault ;/

 

I feel really lucky that I wasn't affected by the power outage. It seems like it hit everywhere around Pennsylvania (New York, Ohio, and Maryland), but not in it. Unless that just means everyone in Pennsylvania is too cheap to buy an air conditioner (like me /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif).
