I down loaded a jeff_Wolf vid from the Random Recent VF Movies section and it won't play. It can't find combination of filters. I have divx 4.02 and WMP 7.1???

 

Yes, one movie from TBzone always gave me trouble, and I seem to remember it was Wolf vs. Jeffry. The ONLY way I could get it to play was using The Playa, which is the special DivX player found on <a target="_blank" href=http://www.divx.com>http://www.divx.com</a> ..
Even then, sometimes it plays only ~45 second. I think they messed up the encoding. Maybe I'll download it again from TBZone and see.

 

so, it worked at random? I have tried ThePlaya once and it didn't work. Ok so at least I know there's no new codec to download.

 

well, it seemed to work once and only showed 45 seconds, later I tried it again with The Playa and it worked for the entire movie. So I don't know?
But yes, I'd recommend getting The Playa. One nice thing about it is that it can view an incomplete DivX movie. WMP usually can't.
