    Makes sense, thanks for the clarification. So far only one I can land in matches is 4P+K, 4K+G, 6K~G, 9K+G. Last one hits even if I time the iageri too early lol. Not his max damage by far. Probably gonna stop messing with Jean and go back to Jacky for a while.

    You can put 2P+K -> P in between there too, so

    4P+K, 4K+G, 6K~G, 2P+K, P, 7K
    and another iaigeri in place of P for lightweights I think. Second iaigeri possibly stancedependant.

    ps. 9K is now equally fast to 9K+G. Since we now jump with 9G.

    Some easy combos without Iageri for laggy online fights

    CH [P]+[K], [P] ,[6_] [P] , [2] [P] , [7_] [K]+ [G] 82 DMG, Closed Stance or Somersault will not hit

    [4] [P]+ [K], [4] [K] + [G] [6_] [P] [2] [P]+ [K] [8]/ [2] [P]+ [K]+ [G], [P], [P] 80 DMG, 90 DMG on CH

    [6] [K] , [6_] [P] , [2] [P] , [7] [K]+ [G] 69 DMG, 81 DMG on CH Closed Stance or Somersault will not hit

    [6] [K] , [P] [P] [G], [7] [K] + [G] 70 DMG 82 on CH Closed Stance or Somersault will not hit

    Some combos vs. Lightweight, basically all females + El Blaze + Lion:

    [6] [K] , [3] [P] [P] [G] [1] [P]+ [K] [P] [K] 78 DMG, 90 DMG on CH Closed Stance or last [K] will miss

    [6] [K] , [6_] [P] [2] [P]+ [K] [G] [7] [K]+ [G] 74 DMG, 86 DMG on CH

    CH [P]+[K], [P], [6_] [P] , [2] [P]+ [K] [G] [7] [K] + [G] 87 DMG doesn't work on Pai

    I'm noticing [​IMG][3][P] does 5 extra damage on Jean.

    This variation gives 75 dmg and works on all but Taka(?)
    [6][K]>[6][P][P][G](clear)[7][K]
    P.S. Isn't [7][K] the same as [7][K]+[G] ? I thought there was no difference in Final Showdown.

    Why settle for these combos though when you can just omit the [6_][K]:[G] altogether in most of the combos if it's giving you such a hard time? You're already sacrificing damage by omitting it from the combos, but you're sacrificing even MORE by settling for these combos instead.

    If you don't feel like practicing Iaigeri, do
    [6][K] > [6_][P] > [2][P][+][K]~[8]/[2][P][+][K][+][G]~[P][P]

    I mean I would recommend practicing the hell out of Iaigeri until you can do it online because it's a very important move for Jacky (VERY important), but hey...

    It's because the attack Jean does to get countered does more damage so it's in a higher counter hit class.

    Correct, the moves are now equally fast, there is do frame difference caused by inputs (Because we no longer jump by holding K or P)

    Note: Jacky flipkick is however 14 frames only from point blank range. If youre getting 15 frame flipkick, youre too far.

    Its not just used for combos. Watch some vids of arcade game-play and you will see every Jacky use it. Even check out Denkai or Glory85. They make great use of Iaigeri.

    You can get the high bound (and subsequent doublebound) up to Jacky it seems. Its certainly not 'just' 1f delay, because it takes like half a second to dash forward and wait for their legs to start swinging forward.

    The Max that I've gotten so far is
    CH [​IMG][3][P] -> dash [P] -> [4][K]+[G] (HB) -> Iaigeri -> [2][P]+[K] (LB) -> iaigeri -> [7][K] = 107 damage on Jacky. Ive not yet managed to do the bound on Akira. The first punch is pretty much a just frame timing. P connects when the legs start to swing forward.

    Hey guys, Jacky beginner here, I didn't see a Jacky general discussion so I figured I'd post here since it does have to do with combos. I don't know if I just haven't looked hard not or not(probably not) but my question is I don't know some of the terms lol High/Low Bound, Iageri, SS(But I'm assuming it's Slide Shuffle or Switch Step) also I'm just not understanding how to combo, when practicing combos in OP they just don't combo...??

    I know this is a real noobish post, but I really enjoy VF even if I'm bad right now lol and really really want to learn.

    Iageri: Flash Sword Kick[6_][K]:[G]
    SS: Slide Shuffle 4 [P]+[K]+[G]
    HighBound: hard to explain, opponent "stands" after smashed to the ground, Low Bound is the opposite

    Anyway, 2 Combostarter/Floater are missing, not mentioned yet:

    9 [G],[K]:

    9[G],[K]2[P]4[K][K][K]


    8[K]+[G]:

    8[K]+[G]:1[K]+[G]
