    Hello Jacky players, I started doing some work on Jacky's WIKI page!

    Right now I've got to get through the mundane stuff but soon will be putting up valuable information. Of course I want the input and contributions of any Jacky players willing to post up anything! I'll definately put your stuff on the WIKI (so long as it's true of course) and credit you for it.

    I was planning on using the same layout for Jacky's Slide Shuffle that I did for Sarah's Flamingo like:

    Done some more work with him, his Inashi strat, Throwing strat, and his first stuff regarding jab and jab strings is done.

    Something I've been meaning to here more explaination on is the use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif and how many players are talking about it's use as anti-fuzzy, spacing tool, and basically spam-material.

    Any experienced Jacky players want to lay in? Cause I'm by no means a vet with the racer.

    It's an excellent move to interrupt high attacks and combo with the follow up /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif. Backdash /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif is good stuff, and annoying as well. Its downfall is that it's slow and at disadvantage on normal hit as well as being heavily disadvantaged on guard. Sometimes you can catch someone off guard with the delayed follow up if they're sniffing low throw, but miss and your goose is royally cooked.

    A use for it in major counter situations without the followup is to try for an immediate elbow, but be warned that this has been weakend in VF5 due to true nikatu being at +6 and it loses to 10 frame punchers.

    Realistically you'll end up using up the advantage to setup for bigger attacks. Try doing /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif afterwards If your opponent is bad at reading the type of hit. You'll net a higher advantage from the major counter and gain a serious edge on momentum.

    Like your opponent, you also need to make sure you're not misreading the type of hit. Hit checking this move effectively (like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif to a lesser degree) will allow for a well balanced offensive, thus furthering the success of his strong mid attacks.

    Finally /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif has its role in combos such as after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif.

    I busted in some more work for Jacky players, this time on the all-important middle smash aka elbow aka /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif

    Please Please PLEASE post up if you see something wrong, have something you want to contribute, or anything that just bugs you.

    PS: more work was done on Jacky's stance sections.

(And not to sound like the loser who posts online when they're drinking, but I'm semi-tipsy atm lol. So pardon my mistakes and see if the guts of what I have ot say could be helpful. Also, I'm going to be wordy so it won't work well for Wiki format if any of this proves useful lol.)

    Do you think for the strategy portion we should include Jacky's Okizeme(sp? usually just call it Oki for short) options, as well as his useful delayed attacks?

    I'm no expert but based off of what I do and works these are some of the recomendations I have.

    For his Oki game, he has some great tools (As do many I guess haha).

    -If you notice your opponent likes to quick roll or do a quick getup and either not block, or go for a quick attack, use /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif. This full spinning attack will shutdown any quickroll option or quick getup that they do not block during their getup. It is best to do this at a leg's length distance (try to hit them with the tip toes.) If this move is blocked, it is throw punishable. You can also use Jacky's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif in a similar fashion.

    -If you notice your oppoent tends to get up and attack after a nockdown, a well placed/well spaced /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif can be very effective. If possible, wait to see if the first kick makes contact, if you spot that the first kick was a counterhit, perform the second kick as it is guaranteed off of counter hit.

    You can train aggressive opponents to stand up and block by using these tools, and eventually use throw setups or other options if they begin to quick getup and block.

    Jacky has two delayed attacks which I find very useful.

    -The second hit on his /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif can be delayed quite a long time. If you notice your opponent likes to attack quickly after having successfully blocked attacks, perform the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, wait, then perform the second hit /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif to hit them, or hopefully, catch them with a couter hit. In version B it creates a stagger, but in Version C I've read it launches on counter hit?

    -The third hit on Jacky's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif can be extremely delayed, creating a good guessing game. I find that whenever I face a new opponent, the first time I do this almost ALWAYS works lol. If you delay the last hit, it can create a small stagger on counter hit, can track an early sidestep attempt, and is safe on block (I think?)

    That's about all I can think of that isn't on the Wiki currently. I'll try to help out more after having messed with Version C awhile.

    The third hit on Jacky's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif isn't safe on block its -15 disadvantage. Delaying the last Punch is a useful tool for you will usually get a counter hit if it connects a nice follow up after that is to use Jacky's quick /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif afterwards. While delaying the last punch is useful (at times) remember to make good use of his shuffle [up or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif after the second punch hits, this way you can fake out your opponent.

    Hey guys im new to these forums and fairly new to VF. I use Jacky as my main character and I find that an effective move to use is /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif, the Bil Jee strike.
    The Bil Jee strike once executed I find that a can get in an easy /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif.
    I usually use the move when the opponent least expects it for example when the opponent is closing the distance, the only disadvantage I can see is that it has pretty short range, however im not very fimiliar with the technical aspects of the game so please forgive me if this info is of no use.

    If you land it on normal it gives you +12 which guarantees /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f_.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif

    If you land it on counter hit you get +17 and can land many moves like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif

    I'm probably late on this but yes, that's correct. In Rev. C, treat the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif after /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif just like /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df_.gif +/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif on MC; can follow up with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif.

    That's the only Rev. C info I can confirm, since I don't have the system at the moment.

    Didn't know the /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif low ender was safe on block and advantage on hit, that's pretty important stuff. I'll have to start workin on that, I've just been using the kick for a low round ender.
