How do I do the toe kick of doom? Is it d+k, neutral, fireball+g+p? Is it Down kick into fireball throw? Is there a delay after the kick? I have tried it a few times unsuccessfully, but have had it, uh, performed on my character. I think it is cool. It is hilarious also when you take a step back after the kick and the angry, horny, Jeffrey teleports to grab you anyway. The reason I couldn't ask the guys doing it to me is that they spoke Chinese and I don't.

There is indeed a timing for it. The motions you have are correct: d+K, n, d,df,f+P+G.

A while back, Myke had noticed that if you inputted the throw motions just as Jeff closed his hand, you'd get it (as long as your opponent didn't do anything). Now, that was VF3tb DC. Who knows what the timing for it is in VF4. But I would imagine something similar.

Try a variety of timings. I've always been a big fan of entering the d,df,f+P+G motion as the sound of the *boom* from the toe kick subsides, but hey, that's me.

At this point, don't do it really fast. You'll never get it that way. Slow it down and get a routine for it.

    cheers,

It's down+K, wait until his foot is just touching the floor again, then a quick smooth fireball motion+P+G

.. some people also swear by starting a little earlier (just before the leg finishes dropping) and doing a slow roll.
the point is the P+G has to be pressed right about when jeff would normally recover from the toe kick.

Is the toe kick of doom in vf4? I've never been that good with it so I haven't tried it.

But even if you suck with toe kick of doom, if your opponent just stands there after the toe kick, just do a d/f, d/f+pg anyway, because after your toe kick hits (or even is blocked) you're in throw range. hehe.

Thanks. I can do it consistently now. It is great fun! I like playing with Jeffrey and have gotten pretty good with him. Now the only move that I can't execute is Akira's DLC when the opponent is on the left. That's ok though.

Heh, like a one sided SPoDer... (i.e. me)
    Keep practicing. You'll get it.
