Hi all.

I've wanted to encode and upload vids for over a year now, and I still haven't invested in a DVD recorder but I recorded some with my digital camera and they actually turned out nice. Enjoy, and any feedback is appreciated.

This next one is me showing off with Shun's trickery against turpenoid's LeiFei (sorry turpenoid, but great nonetheless!).

These two are against someone I've never seen before, lisachen0623 who has a very, very good Wolf (what do you think Brisal and Flash?). Not only was his Wolf pretty damn good, but I had a phenomenal session against him. On Youtube I called these, "How to deal with a great Wolf using Shun."

These last two are against RejectWall KS's Wolf who is also a very good Wolf player. All of these Wolf matches were from the same day and I must say I was doing very well against Wolf that day.

Great videos! I like the tropical tan on Shun. Makes him look like... I don't know who but great matches.

haha~ lisachen0623 is my another tag. But that's only for my roommate to play VF online. He has good kage and wolf but too bad he doesn't seem to like VF5 very much. I saw the fight between you and him last time. And you can see the second video was me actually~~haha~~ (I was sitting near to him and eating pizza!!)

I like the 8k knockdown (faceup leg towards) 44p,g-cancel to 7 hold k inverted jump to 9p. These setups are always nice to see other characters using that have a 44p or some backturned attack that can cancel. Originally, I saw chibita experimenting with them back in the days of 4 and ever since then I tried to explore further.

I've always experimented with stuff like this since VF2, but VF4 made for a lot of cool situations, mostly because attacks would hit from the wrong way, meaning you could hit someone who was behind you with a BT attack. It was broken, but fun. VF5 doesn't have many situations like this anymore, and it's more for show than anything because you are giving up a guaranteed opportunity for damage.

This first vid is against a Japanese Wolf player. The only reason I uploaded this one is because you HAVE to check out the KO in the last round. It's frickin' sweet, and an excellent at that!!

This one I uploaded just to show the pain and suffering in the first round against this poor Lion player. I can't remember who it was, and I'm sure he'd rather not be named anyway. =)

And finally I have a great match against Cozby. I got lucky in the last round with the KO - watch how it happens. The next time Coz I'll upload one of you winning, because we both know that also happens frequently. Good stuff buddy!

AWESOME. My favorite was that first kage video. He was killing you with those sweeps, the way you started jumping over all of them was simply brilliant. One of the best matches i've ever seen!

haha, nice kage outfit cozby, that cracked me up. different colored hair, guantlets, grieves, pants shirt, mask, belt, and an eyepatch to boot. Either cozby likes to put his people in absurd outfits or he's colorblind. I liked it tho.

 

Here is my newest vid against VFNumbers. This is a great match that goes to the last round. There are some real close calls! Sorry for the crap quality, but it's still tolerable.

I'm having difficulty understanding why this is a "great match". Tell-tale signs of a "great match" such as throw escapes or damaging combos or even great comebacks seem to be absent. I'm not a Shun nor a Lei Fei player so what am i suposed to be looking for exactly? Can you help me? Anybody?

 

It might not be the greatest of all time but it was indeed a fun one to play and also to watch. You should watch again if you say you didn't see a comeback.

VFNumbers wins the first two, I come back 3 in a row, and the last round I was down and out and came back for the win. I would say it was indeed a comeback, and that is partly the making of a good match. Wouldn't you agree?

I will agree about throw escapes though, it seems there is an extreme lack of participants lately in this category.
