joystick quicker

I got my hori 3 days ago. It took me 2 1/2 until i was better with it than the xbox trash pad/stick. Although admittedly when matches get tight, suddenly my hand wishes it had that trusty controller and has no idea what to do with a stick bigger than my nintendo wii console. lol. But is the stick just quicker with inputs than the pad. I feel like it is. Granted the stick is what i used even on regular controller, and it can be a bit slow to go back to neutral. Still, i feel like the stick is quicker than my ps2 controller on evo. Am i crazy. Or is this the exact reason why people say some moves are stick necessary, therefore...i silly post entirely. Thanks for any replies. Love you guys' board. Whenever i got cold feet on buying xbox360 (just for vf5 online btw) i'd jump on here for a few hours and be all excited again to go spend half a grand. Ouch. Don't regret a dime of it. Especially not the stick that was barely cheaper than the game : ) It feels like added potential in my hands.

 

You did well to get a stick. There are a handful of players that prefer pad. None like the 360 pad that I know of. Most pad players go with aftermarket (HORI pad, etc.).
